Welcome to 5th place

The bandwagon is getting lighter. I stated in November of 2004 that this team would be in tough to make it coming down the stretch. Too many NHL caliber guys on the other 5 teams to match up too. Walker and Bogie do not compliment Kobesaw, Commodore, Forbes, Staal, Hilbert, Bergeron, Boyes (?), etc. I think they have done a helluva a job to stay in it this long without Glumac, Pohl and others that would have added some point totals. When your top scorer is 88th in the league and you are still in playoff contention, BE HAPPY! Add to the woes of the Granato family this season has been full of adversity and other challenges mentally that FANS don't appreciate. Most fans think these guys are machines and forget that they have off ice lives that may cause some distress and distraction and yet they still try to compete.

How can a team play the last 2 mins of a 60min game?

This will soon be Peoria's problem.  Sure they really want this? (JK).

Like Bill Parcells once said: "You are what you are."

Prov. at home Wednesday gives the guys a chance to jump back in. Let's hope they can seize it!!

Yeah Right, MUCH better than Providence and Lowell?

Actually I think the Icecats collectively have the least talent of the first five teams in the division hands down. The Icecats have stayed competitive this year largely with gutsy play, and alot of heart. No way does this team have more talent than the other 4 ( Man, Har, Low , Pro ) in the division.

Well, when the IceCats don't play better than Providence and Lowel, l it doesn't make sense to assume they are "much better."

I think that Providence is going to play much better now that goaltender Hannu Toivonen has returned after knee surgery.

I don't know what everyone else thinks but I think that the 'Cats are a much better team then Providence or Lowell.  Its too bad they don't play that way.
